What does "Product Key Card" mean?

It is the alpha-numerical 'key' that you need to enter when you are loading the software onto your computer from the internet. Usually there are no physical disks involved with the purchase anymore.

Is it compatible with OS 10.10.5 and does it include Word, Excel and Powerpoint? And can run documents created in an older version of these?

In answer to all your questions:  YES!  It will show 'Outlook' as being downloaded also but ignore this.  It will not run Outlook.

Is this the version of the software that can be installed on 3 computers? Or is this the version that can only be installed on 1 computer?

This version can only be installed on 1 Mac.

The Following Programs are include in the Microsoft Office 2011 for a Mac,
  Microsoft  Word
  Microsoft  Excel
  Microsoft  PowerPoint

This package is for a single computer,  not licensed for 3 computers.

Keycode only. Download is very fast though.

i have the key where do i go from  here?

Go to the Microsoft software download site and download the software you bought from there.  When you go to open the software after it's loaded on your machine it will ask you if you want to buy it or if you already have a key code.  You have the key code so click there and enter it in the window shown--and you'll be up and running.  Be advised that the package of software you bought did/does not include MS Outlook so if it downloads with the other software (word, excel, and powerpoint) don't even try to copy it into your machine or open it if it copies automatically.  Trying to get it to open will only cause things to get messy.  Good luck!
