Yes. Different than the old ones that just pulled off. There is  a button on the keyboard that you hit, which causes the keyboard to disengage and you can remove it.

It comes with a charger and cord. You can plug into the keyboard to charge both batteries (keyboard and tablet) at the same time. Otherwise, you also have the option to plug into the tablet while detached to charge just the tablet's battery.

Yes, it's a detachable keyboard, so you can use it either as a tablet or a laptop. From what i gather, the whole system works very well.

It will run, yes. But Intel graphics are not made with this type of workload in mind. You would want something with a firepro or a quadro in it if you can get it in the budget.
