Can I use this to install an unactivated copy of Win10 Home on a PC running Win7?

First, you have to have Windows 7 Home Edition on that PC so it would match the Windows 10 version. Second, you have to upgrade directly from Windows 7 Home to get Windows 10 Home to activate with the 7 key code. Do not clean install as it will not work. Same goes for Windows 10 Pro. Done it with several PC's and Laptops and not one has failed to activate. Also the version I got on disc was Windows 10 version 1809.

Question 2

Will one of these Win Home 10 /  64 bit Install/ Recover Disc work on all 3 of my Win 10 Home Desktops Or just 1 ?

This is the installation/recovery media only.  You would need to use the unique Windows 10 license provided with each of your desktops (assuming they all came with Windows 10 preinstalled), but this disc should work with all 3 of them.

Question 3

I upgraded to Windows 10 from another version through the free upgrade Microsoft offered, which Microsoft says means I have a "digital license" and no product key. Would this disc work for me?

I would look under properties of computer for product key.  If listed, write it down for later
entry after a reinstall. If you can't find a physical product key, then I doubt if a windows 10
working copy will work. For the price it might be worth a try, but digital or otherwise a key should be on your computer.

Question 4

It says in the picture 'Gently scratch to reveal product key'!  If so, does it mean it includes a product key? Is it genuine copy of Windows?

Windows 10 Home Recovery disk does not include key.  I used it to load the operating system onto a new SSD on an existing Windows PC when the original SSD failed.  Because I registered the original PC installation with a Microsoft account, my original Product Key was applied and I was back in business.

Question 5

My windows 10 Home that came with the computer has died - no internet, no recovery, no history, no trash bin, no diagnostic, no repair etc, nothing.  Will this re-install my Windows 10 Home or give the computer the ability to connect with the internet to download what it needs to either repair or reinstall it?

This is just the installer you can make your own for free with windows media creation tool but you will need internet on another working computer this might be useful if you don't want to bother with that.

First thing you should do is backup (preferably a disk image) your windows 10 computer to an external hard drive so that if anything goes wrong you can undo what you did and get an extra attempt.

It will give you a chance at startup repair it is hit or miss and if your lucky it will get your existing windows working.

The other thing you can do is install windows as an upgrade over your existing windows you can upgrade 10 to 10 as a repair technique and hopefully it fixes it while keeping your files and apps. (you can google something about in place upgrade)

If it still not working you can custom install it and delete all your files and apps. (make sure you first backup anything you care about because this deletes everything).

I originally installed on my first build with Windows 7 Home but eventually took the free upgrade to 10. I've done one rebuild since then and plan to do another one soon. I've lost my Windows 7 recovery disk though, so assuming I decided to do a fresh install, would this work?

ok if you got your original win 7 product key. and you use that with win 10 install disk it may work. it works for some people but not with all. microsoft may or may not allow it. but it should work it worked for me.

Yes Windows 10 is a upgrade but it will overwrite all your current files during installation.  Before  installing Windows 10 you need to copy your important files to a  thumb drive or portable hard drive.   The full Windows 10 program cost about $100.  The recovery disk is $10 and is not the full Windows 10 program.

I have no clue. I bought the windows 10 HOME edition. As far as I know you have to use the same as your operating system which would be the HOME edition not the PRO.

I have a Dell computer that came with Windows 10 pre-installed on its Hard Drive. I want to upgrade to a Solid State Drive. I can copy over my hard drive to the solid state drive but I understand the recover options will no longer work. Will this disc help me recover my Windows 10 OS in an emergency?

this disk allows the user to install a clean copy of windows using your licence and the drivers can be downloaded from dell.   on the original system the image program will put all the necessary files on a 16gb usb memory stick and with a repair disk made on your computer you can reinstall the system to first boot status, this has been the normal procedure starting back with windows 8. help and support has the listed steps on what to do.
