Do I use my own flash drive to download the latest version?  If so, how large a drive do I need?  Thanks.

This version comes on a flash drive. Just insert flash drive, reboot and follow onscreen prompts. You can upgrade from a previous version or do a fresh install. If you already have a Pro version of your current operating system the upgrade will install Windows 10 Pro on the existing Product Key.

Is this an OEM version?

It's the retail version.  The license is not tied to a single machine that expires with the machine but can be moved to another device if the old machine is no longer functional.

Do you have to boot from the stick to install, or can you run the Setup from it while in Win7 instead?

SO this stats 32-bit/64-bit so I'm guessing it comes with both and have the option? because i really want 64-bit and dont want to mess up

I easily installed the 64 bit version on a new WD hard drive thru a USB port. Small memory stick enclosed in package rather than disc.
Fairly quick procedure that prefers you to be on line to complete.

Can this retail version of Windows 10 home (USB flash drive) be used to upgrade from windows 7 without reinstalling applications?

Yes.  That's what I did.   Boot up windows 7, then run 'setup' from the Windows 10 usb drive to upgrade  Windows.   Most of the applications  that ran on windows 7 still worked on 10.  Windows 10 upgrade didn't uninstall or delete anything.

I just built a pc and if I put this in will it bring me to the windows installation process?

It can if the machine's bios allows booting from a USB drive and you have enabled it to do so. You can usually hit F12 on restart to pull up the boot order. Then choose USB or if HDD has a plus beside it, select that and choose usb.

I am building a new pc. is this what I need to download windows to the hard drive?

This is on USB rather than a download; so you'll need to make sure that you have an active USB port available (but what motherboard doesn't have those at the back?), but this is what you'll need to install Windows on a new computer. (I also used this version when building my PC. Have fun with your build!)

is this a pure microsoft product no copies or oem! i want the original no copies. once i install i do not want to see you have a copy!!!!!!?????????????

Yes it is.  Full product from Microsoft with support.  The main reason I spent the extra money for this is because you are supposed to be able to transfer the license to a different computer, which you can not do with OEM version.  Since Windows 10 is supposed to be the last version change (we will see if that holds) then I can transfer this 5 years form now to a new build.
