This DVD is 21H2 not the new 22h2. The DVD label number is (windows 11 x18-45392). Look up Windows 11 x18-45392 for more info

Does Newegg sell a USB key version and not a DVD version of Windows 11 Home?

The product is described as Windows 11 Home 64-bit, DVD, and there is no mention of a USB key version available for sale.

I bought this DVD but I have no optical drive on my new build.   Can I dowload Win11 to a usb (on my old computer,) and boot from the usb and then use the key that comes with this DVD?

Yes I does not matter if you use the disk or a download the key will work for either.

I want to reinstall window 10 home on Gigabyte Z170X Gaming; but, in the install process, window does not see the SSD hardrive. It says that it does not see the harddrive driver. If I bought this window 11 and install it, can this installation fix the problem?

If you are using newer drives like NVME drive then you have to format it on a system that has windows 10 on it and running , as for some reason this has happened to me when using Nvme drives like the 990 samsung  as windows does not see the drive unless it has been initailized by windows all ready. It needs the drivers from windows 10 on it in order for windows to recoghnize the drive. So if it is a nvme drive then using a windows 10 computer format the drive and then it will be recognized by the new OS

I am building my first PC.  Do I need a touch screen to use this software?  I simply have a typical monitor and don't want to waste my money on something I can't use.  Second question.  I have an external dvd drive that plugs into the USB port.  Will I be able to use this setup for installing Windows on my newly built PC?

Thank you Gary.  The hardware part was simple.  Just nervous about first time installing the OS.  Very much appreciate your help.  Will now go ahead and purchase Windows 11.  From what I have read, it looks like it is just a matter of time before Windows 10 is phased out anyway.

This is a CD, so if you build a computer, it would most likely not have a CD bay. You have to go to the Microsoft website and get a converter. Put the product key and download it on a thumb drive. Run on the computer to install.

Does this include the COA (certificate of authenticity) which you stick onto the computer and usually also had the license key in it?

Yes, there is a sticker on the DVD sleeve with the product key, however I don't believe it's removable to stick on the computer.
