Pros: It functions. It still has updates for a little while longer than XP and it was capable of utilizing 64 bit operations better than XP.
Cons: Security Overkill. Didn't support older version software as well as newer OS.

Overall Review: I got all new stuff and am hoping to get three years out of this Windows 7 and Intel i7 CPU. Six Gb of GSkill memory and a Sparkle nVidia card and all is well.

Cons: If you can't change it for the better, just change the names of the same old functions. Hoodwink us? One example...Right click on the desktop. It say "Personalize". This is the exact same function that on XP said "Properties". Shame on you Microsoft.

Pros: Good looking GUI. Fast and stable. I love DirectX10 and everything runs fine on my system. It seems to be faster than XP.
Cons: Not everything is compatible with this. I had to get a new sound card because drivers didnt work for it. Other than that, nothing.
Overall Review: I upgraded from XP to a 32-bit Vista to this. Noticed a difference everytime. My system hauls a*s now :)

Pros: For all the bashing that Vista got for being a terrible OS. I have to say that I had Absolutely NO trouble with it for 4 years. Time to upgrade. Waiting for windows 8 to have bugs fixed. :P
Cons: Layouts where good, I thought it was reliable. I relies I didn't use my computer for much else besides gaming and 3D art but during that time no issues.
