Has anyone found a compatible USB transceiver to replace the original Microsoft USB transceiver, when you lose or break it?

No, I could never find one. I looked all over for a universal transceiver, as suggested by Microsoft, but no luck.

Why is NewEgg selling it for $700? Elsewhere it seems to be about $80?!
