Does the minix neo x7 come with a remote contoller ?

Yes it does. It runs the basic operations just fine. I plan on getting a more advanced remote in the future which will allow me to more quickly enter text for passwords, etc.
Overall the Neo X7 is a great little piece of equipment.  And it can be flashed with custom Rooms easily. I know I love mine!

Does this item support 1080p output?

Yes but u have to flash an updated firmware to the device in order to get full 1080p support.

Can I use an HDMI to DVI adapter, so I can use this unit with a DVI equipped monitor? Thank you.

Yes you can to convert the video. You will loose the audio portion of the hdmi and have to supply audio another way (i.e. optical audio or headphone jack)
