i saw a simalar box at my brother house with thousand of channels. does this box come with apls preloaded and plug and play with all the movies channels? i am ready to order just waiting on your response

I forget what apps were pre-loaded but it's running Android so you can go to the Google Play store and get the apps from there.  Basically, if the app runs on an Android tablet, it will run on this box. The box does have a special XBMC edition app pre-loaded.

Does it play DVD if an external USB DVD drive is connected?

Best android Media device, I have used apple, G-Box Midnight MX2 and  the Minix out performs them all
