Pros: Ok, so we all know this little guy is AWESOME, tiny, sexy looking...
Cons: But... mine died like everyone elses.
Overall Review: So, I tracked down the manufacturer, PNY Technologies(Google it, I think my previous review got deleted because I posted links)
The model is the hp115w. They will handle the RMA lighting fast if your drive is still under warranty. They were super helpful. They literally overnighted me a new drive. Direct your email to hpsupport at pny dot com, they will get you a new drive that won't fail (newer revision, mine has been great)
Cons: Quit working after two months!
Pros: Small and light for key chain use. Quick enough for small data transfers. Has a nice "wow" factor when coworkers see me use it.
Cons: Though it has worked great and withstood the shuffling in my pocket, I'm concerned about when it will break. It has just enough parts to function as a USB drive so all extra reinforcement is removed.
Overall Review: Only comes in one color. I'm also concerned about loosing it or if the locking hook breaks.
Pros: Storage. Compact. Portable. Using it for school files like word, photoshop, excel, illustrator, and powerpoint. No issues yet. (knock on wood)
Cons: Swivel. If you move the drive a certain way it will sometimes unplug it and you can quickly loose data if you are saving/transferring big files when doing so. I lost a CF card that way. :(
Pros: Small size and metal case. Unlike other flash drives, the attachment for a keyring is metal and won't break off.
Cons: Comes with a very cheap and flimsy ring to attach to your key ring. The ring easy bends. I lost mine, when the ring bent open.
Pros: Was a nifty little thing when it worked.
Cons: See title. As many others have experienced, this drive is piece of excrement. Can't seem to handle the environment it would obviously be constantly exposed to.
Overall Review: Cheap, too cheap I guess. Getting around Newegg's censor is hard!
Pros: Plenty of storage for my uses. Small, easy to carry on my keychain without getting in the way.
Cons: After 5 months of using it to store software downloads and personile MS Office documents, it stopped working. No computer I plug in into will recognize that a device is connected to the USB port.
Overall Review: As of right now, I've lost several Word documents that I have created and saved to this drive. In the process of contacting HP about the 2 year warranty, though this model is not listed when you go through their form to contact customer service. I care more about the data that was lost than I do about replacing the flash drive. Hopefully, HP can help me out.
Pros: It's very small, that's what I was looking for.
Cons: My friend have one of this drives and when opened it has a position where the drive dont move. My deviece unfortunately can rotate, and do not have a position where it stops. This makes it hard to put into the usb slot. Thats a con for me. Also it can open by itself when in pocket. :(
Overall Review: It's quite slow. I tried to write a 6.5gb movie on it. The start speed was 25mb/s, but after 10-15sec it fell down to 6-7mb/s.
