Since this adapter cable CANNOT connect directly to the power supply but instead connects through power cables, it is compatible with various power supply brands (including but not limited to ASUS, EVGA, Seasonic, Corsair, Thermaltake, Great Wall, NZXT, and MSI). Please ensure that your power supply has 2 unoccupied 8-pin PCIe/CPU cable for proper connection.
Q2: Sharers have mentioned that it is compatible with RTX 5080, RTX 5090, is the 16pin to 2x8 pcie extension cable really compatible?
A2: For RTX 5080, RTX 5090, we recommend that you choose 16pin to 3x8 pin adapter cable or 16pin to 4x8 pin adapter cable from Fasgear store. Even though some sharers have mentioned that compatible with rtx 5080, we don't really recommend risking it.
