Our Suspension Boom Stand is made of steel and provides a sturdy platform to hold microphones in place for the duration of a recording session. The arm is strong enough to support 2 pounds of weight and the rugged construction means it won't transfer vibrations to the microphone, causing audio noise. The microphone arm was designed to provide users with as much flexibility as possible. The metal C-clamp is large enough to fit onto surfaces up to 1.9 in thick and the pressure can be adjusted quickly and easily using the metal spindle.
