Question 1

Does this case support back connect motherboards?

Accepted Answer

Yes it does

Question 2

Can the MONTECH KING 45 PRO handle a 360 mm liquid cooler?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The case supports a top-mounted 360 mm radiator, with the provided specifications listing support for radiators up to 84 mm thick. User reports also describe successful installation of a 360 mm liquid cooler, although exact radiator, fan, motherboard, and memory dimensions should still be checked.

Question 3

Is the MONTECH KING 45 PRO worth buying for a high-performance gaming PC?

Accepted Answer

It is a strong option when the priorities are GPU airflow, a panoramic-glass showcase design, included ARGB PWM fans, and support for large components. Its main trade-offs are the relatively large footprint, possible power-supply cable-routing constraints, and a layout that may require more planning than a conventional case.

Question 4

What are the main drawbacks of the MONTECH KING 45 PRO?

Accepted Answer

The case is larger than its photos may suggest, so it is not ideal when desk or floor space is limited. Community reports also mention that PSU compatibility and power-cable routing can be restrictive, while some lower motherboard cutouts may be tight for cable connections. The curved glass and dual-chamber layout improve presentation but add layout-specific installation considerations.

Question 5

Is the MONTECH KING 45 PRO suitable for air cooling?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it can work with air cooling, but airflow configuration matters. Community testing reports acceptable temperatures with a tower cooler and bottom intake fans, while other discussions raise concerns about GPU heat affecting the CPU cooler. An AIO may be preferable for especially high-power processors.

Question 6

Who is this case best suited for?

Accepted Answer

It is best suited for PC builders who want an ATX-compatible showcase system with panoramic tempered glass, hidden cable routing, strong cooling support, and room for large components. It is less suitable for buyers seeking a small, lightweight case or a ready-to-use computer, because its dimensions are approximately 17.7 x 9.6 x 16.7 inches and it does not include a power supply or internal PC components.

Question 7

Is this a good case for airflow and sustained gaming or workstation loads?

Accepted Answer

It is suitable for sustained high-performance use because its dual-chamber layout and chimney-style bottom-to-top airflow are intended to direct fresh air through the system. It also supports a 360 mm radiator and includes pre-installed ARGB PWM fans. Actual temperatures will still depend on the CPU, GPU, fan orientation, room temperature, and system configuration.

Question 8

Will this case fit a high-performance ATX build with a large graphics card and liquid cooler?

Accepted Answer

It is designed for high-performance ATX systems and supports ATX motherboards, oversized GPUs, and a top-mounted 360 mm radiator up to 84 mm thick. Confirm the exact length and thickness of your graphics card, radiator, and power cables before purchasing because individual component dimensions can affect clearance.

Question 9

Is this a complete working PC, or only the computer case?

Accepted Answer

It is only a PC case. The power supply, motherboard, processor, memory, storage, graphics card, operating system, and other components must be purchased separately. The case does include its listed fans and fan hub.

Question 10

How many fans are included, and do I need to buy more?

Accepted Answer

The specification lists four pre-installed ARGB PWM fans connected through a fan hub, so a basic build can start without purchasing additional case fans. One product description also mentions three pre-installed fans, creating an inconsistency in the listing; verify the included fan count with the seller before ordering. Additional fans may still be useful depending on the radiator and desired airflow configuration.
