I just purchased this laptop and want to swap out the  750GB for a solid state. I was wondering if anyone knew of a specific brand that is compatible or any recommendations? I'm looking at a Crucial 256 GB, but wasn't 100% sure if it would work. Thanks for any tips/recs.

Aye, any SSD drive should fit.  Check with MSI support if needed or are unsure.

For my Lenovo G780 laptop, I used a Kingston V300 240GB Solid State Drive Notebook Kit - 2.5" Form Factor.  Using the disc that came along with it, I copied Windows 7 and all of it's contents from the old 5400 hard drive to the new SSD.  No problems whatsoever.

Would this laptop be able to handle a game as demanding as Skyrim, or other advanced games such as this? How does it handle with Minecraft? What are the pros and cons of this laptop? Thank you for your assistance.

I just bought the laptop and it has a bit of trouble running most games on maximum settings.  I would say that on low settings you would be able to run Skyrim but certainly not on ultra.  I was confused because most of the reviews said it would run all newer games on max settings, but this is simply not the case.  I even read a review that said it would run Crysis on max settings, but I find that truly hard to believe.

How well does this run games like Fallout 3 and Skyrim? Does it get above ~45 fps?

Have not played Fallout 3 or Skyrim, I did play TombRaider 2014 and was able to get 45+ fps with medium settings and AA or high settings with no AA. Overall a pretty good laptop will likely run most games from the last few years at a playable framerate if using medium settings.

How many fps does this run on Minecraft Max settings? And will i be able to run Payday 2 On this?

Mine craft is easy on this laptop. Beware the touchpad is terrible. Also the first day, I got amazing fps. After that, steam is showing me that that I get lower than 60 fps, which is probably not true but I feel that the fps gets higher when I charge the laptop.

This laptop caught my eye because of the price and my friend, whos a product tester for newegg, recommended this. Can i run Arma 3 medium or high settings ~50-60 or 60+ fps. I also want to run Insurgency, Rising Storm Red Orchestra 2 GOTY, and Squad? Same settings, same fps as mentioned above. I would appreciate the help

Hey Mohammad, I'm not quite sure about Arma 3 on high, maybe medium. You can definitely run Rising Storm/Red Orch at 60 fps on high, and probably insurgency as well. For comparison, I have a bunch of total war games that are super demanding that run very well. I also have Fallout New Vegas (Older game, I know) that can run on ultra at over 60 fps. So it depends on the game I guess. You should be fine with the games you mentioned except maybe Arma 3.
