Removable Battery?

Not without removing the entire bottom which will probably void the warranty. Suppose to be a multimedia/gaming laptop, but isn't.
The speakers are raspy...the GPU is underpowered...the onboard camera is blurry. The only pluses are the screen and the keyboard.
Take your money and apply it to an Asus ROG and make sure it has a SSD as well as a HDD. MSI has just upgraded this model to Broadwell cpus that's why it's on sale, but I doubt if that helped,

Does this computer have a touch screen?  Does it come with Windows 8.1?

I would love to know how to upgrade to Windows 10, do I need to register it first in order to so? I expected to have an icon or button or whatever it be asking if I'd like to upgrade, but I have had my laptop about a week now and I have yet to see it. I ran an online diagnostic to make sure I was eligible for the upgrade and it said my laptop was not eligible. What am I doing wrong?

is it TN or ISP screen?

Everything I've read says it's IPS. My own experience with it is that it's crisp, clean, and viewable from a wide range of angles.

I had previously tried the Lenovo Y50 with a TN screen, and wasn't happy with it at all.

Nope. It's a standard 1TB 7200 rpm drive.

It says it has a GDDR 3 video card. On MSI's website it is a GDDR 5. Which is it really?
