The pictures are self explanatory so try to look at some reviews or online videos to help knowing what to look for before your further purchases. It's dual channel with 4 slots. Read the specifications as well it will be listed there for you. Also the best speed to use would be the 1600. Now keep in mind this board is not that great for high end gaming, but this board will suffice for a mid to low range gamer.

Question 2

Will this support the Intel Core i5-4460 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2 GHz LGA 1150? I know it kinda seems like a no brain-er but I have not purchased a Intel processor in along time. Not sure about bios updates that could get in the way and what-not.

It should since it shares the same socket for the motherboard (LGA 1150). I was going to get an i5-4460, myself, but had to back down to an i3-4370 due to my budget, and that $180 on an i5 or a processor for gaming didn't seem feasible at the time.

Also, it might be a good idea to get RAM sticks that are compatible with your motherboard and processor, as well. Make sure all your hardware components that you're going to put together are compatible with each other.

As for BIOS updates, I would recommend downloading them from the manufacturer's website rather than using the on-disc installation files. However, since the Ethernet controller will not work by default, unless if you have installed the drivers for it, I recommend using a USB wireless network adapter, as that should hopefully work on your computer moreso than the Ethernet controller. OR you can download the files on a separate computer, put them into an external hard drive or flash drive, and THEN install the files on your computer once you get your preferred operating system installed (mainly for Windows), but this is if you have another computer that's already connected to the internet.

I am looking for a replacement board for my eMachines computer. it currently has the factory ECS board with an AMD processor. Will I have to re-install windows with this board? Also, the one I have now is perfectly square. Will there be extra screw holes left over with this in the case?

You have an E machine and I do not know if their computer cases support the standard ATX and ATXMicro standard motherboard mounting  holes.

Yes you will have to reload windows because you are going from a AMD processor to an Intel processor and there are also different drivers for video, sound, etc.

The new MSI board does not have video capability so you need  to buy an Intel processore with Video capability.

I bought an Intel Pentium G3220 processor.  I makes a nice computer when combined with that MSI motherboard and a SSD hard drive.

will this Mobo work with G3250 Haswell?

It should.  It has the 1150 socket. I have build a system with that  motherboard/processor combination and its good, quick and very stable.

Looking at the pictures, I see 4 RAM Slots... specs state only 2... what gives?

Yes. However, your performance in the OS will be affected by the API your graphic card operates on. In other words, your experience will be the best on a GPU that runs on DirectX 12. That's not to say that you cannot have an enjoyable experience on a system with a GPU that operates on an older version of DirectX, such as DirectX 11, it's just nice to know. But if you want to run on the integrated graphics of an i3 (I don't know why you would) you'll be fine with this board. If you're on a budget, a great card would be a Geforce GTX 950.

is says (2) 3 gb sata and (4) 6 gb sata.  I can only find 4 total on the picture. Are the specs wrong?

This info i straight from the user guide that came with the motherboard ( I purchased two of these and very happy with them): DDR3 240 pin Memory:  Supports 1600/1333.  I am using Crucial brand but I also know Patriot brands works fine too.  The cost of this ram is quite reasonable, so I would not attempt using a unfamiliar brand.

I am not a gamer but the performance of the games  you plan on playing may depend more on the graphic card and the amount of ram you plan on adding.  You may have to do more research before purchasing if you a looking to build a gaming computer.  For casual gaming the on board graphics card  may be good enough.  You could always add more memory and a add on performance graphics card.,

fill this motherboard fit in a full size pc case?

Yes, it should. I placed mine in a mid sized case with lots of room to spare. Look at the motherboard compatibility entry and if "Micro ATX" is listed there, you'll be fine.
