I know that the specs here say that the Aegis can take a video card "up to" a GTX 980Ti, and the Aegis X can take a GTX 1080, but I have seen some other sites (including an MSI web site) that say both Aegis models can take a 1080.  I am planning on using a GTX 1070 FE card.  Can the Aegis (the model on this page) handle the 1070?

For the 1070'same dimensions are smalier than the.1080 then yes it will fit fine. I have the main gtx 980 4gb card and it fits with a little room to spare. Take care with the priest riser to make sure your card seats properly and lines up so it makes a good connection. Listen for the click for a proper seat. Hope this helps.

It is barebones.  You will need cpu, ram, video card and a ssd or hard drive.  If you have never built a computer buy one all ready completed.

Yes, it does. Mine is a WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch and I've had no problems at all so far.

In it current state, no it can not run anything. you need something like an i5-6400 minimum, and an RX480/ GTX1060. This is only a barebones system. It is not complete
