This is a super late answer but yes it will support this processor, however if you're spending the money to get a K model processor don't get a board that doesn't support CPU overclocking. Get yourself a Z170 chipset board.

I would go with a large ATX case. All the big video cards will barely fit.

Not from what I've read.  You can use nVidia cards, but not in SLI.  It will accept Crossfire however.  I bought this thinking I could use SLI, and ended up buying another.  I kept the board, as I will be using it in another system build.

I purchased my board before the new Intel CPU'S were released.  Out of the box, it does accept Sky Lake, but you can easily flash the bios to accept Kaby Lake processors.

A friend purchased this board on 3/2 for a build.  Installed the Kaby Lake he ordered for it, and it fired right up!
