What size power supply is needed to run this card?

If you look under the specifications it states that this card requires 170 watts of power. However the power supply would mostly depend on your other components. A 500W should be fine if your just using the internet and doing nothing to intensive. But seeing as this is a gaming video card I'm guessing you would want a little more wiggle room so I would say a 600-650W power supply would be what I would shoot for.

this card work on a msi Z68A-G43 MB (has 850 watt PS)?

Yes it will work. Even though this graphics card is pci-express 3.0, it will work in a pci-express 2.0 slot. I run two of these graphics cards on a 680 watt psu and so far I have had no trouble. What is better? The gtx 760 4gb or the 770 2gb? Mostly BF4

That would depend on your setup. If you run more than one monitor then i would guess the 760 4gb. It may even be more worth it even if you simply plan to run higher AA settings. However On a strict performance basis the 770 2gb will actually outperform the 760 on a single monitor setup this lower AA settings.

I personally enjoy maxing out all AA settings in games and getting constantly smooth rates.

Either way the way msi built this card is insane. Super high quality.

Yes. The only thing to be careful with is the size of the card. Mine barely fit and I had to move one of my hard drives down so that the card could extend into the drive bay. Look at the dimensions and make sure you have enough room in your case.

I have an ASUS Maximus VI Hero, is this card compatible with this mobo? I bought a EVGA GTX760SC and it keeps dropping the driver and freezing my PC and I don't have to be doing anything, it will hang at the login screen. This is the 2nd card (RMA'd the first one) and EVGA support is no help.

Any 700 series card will be compatible with your z87 chipset motherboard. First make sure that your computer runs fine WITHOUT the graphics card installed. If it does then try a different pci slot on your motherboard and see if that changes anything. If it still does not work then you may have an issue with the motherboard. Hello, and yes it can! The card requires two 8 pin connectors for the card not a  2 six pin, luckly I had the two eight pin on my power supply, Remember , this video card is big! 1 foot long and 3 inches thick! Make sure you have room before you purchase! I have a coolermaster  cosmos 2 case with lots of room! Great card for gaming , I average 150 ffs. Well, hope my info. helps?....thanks

My PC doesn't have an optical drive, will I be able to download a digital copy of the CD that comes with this GPU?

Yes all you need is the nvidia geforce drivers go to nvidia and select support or driver download its a big file about 275 mb if you want the other software go to msi web site or just do a search for msi afterburner i recomend that it lets you adjust your card settings like overclock and fan settings

Can this support 3 monitors? Im not looking to game on all three, just game on one, and keep checks on systems in another and have a side gaming one, my set up is a 32" Panasonic Tv, 24" Asus, and a smaller Dell monitor. the last card I got was a Radeon 7850 and I couldnt get it working on more than two, will this or any card display three monitors or will I have to break down and buy two? and Id prefer keeping the cards under $400-$500

This card supports 4 monitors according to the packaging.. I personally only run one monitor, but this card should have no problem supporting four. This card can also support 4K monitors if that is any interest to you. Also to help setup the monitors, i dont know if you tried this, but hold down the window key and tap the p button which should open up some monitor display options for more than one monitor.

Which would be better 2 GTX 760's of this MSI or 2 R9 280x's?

Considering I have two of these, and I cross shopped heavily, I would say these two.  It's difficult to compare Radeons and Nvidias, they'll perform better in some games than others.  The extra gig and higher clock speed were my defining factors in choice.  I keep pretty much maxed frame rate at all times, so much so I'm thinking of buying a faster monitor just to see how far they can go. They stay cool, even right next to each other.

Is there a difference between PCI-E 3.0 x16 and PCI-E 3.0? Newegg classifies them separately and I'm afraid to purchase this card for a MOBO with PCI-E 3.0 x16 if this will be an issue. Thank you.

PCI-E 3.0 is the the specification of the bus. The x16 means that there are 16 lanes the bus can utilize. This card, and most graphics cards have a x16 interfaxe, as do most motherboards, so this is not a reason to worry. This card, will work fine for you.
