It connects directly to the PCI express socket.  It gets the power from the slot.  There is no cable/s necessary.  Even if it was powered, the power supply cables should have an open cable to power video cards.

Hi! Personally I usually do 100 or maybe even 150W more than what is recommended for the parts I'm using as a precaution.  If I didn't have my 1000W, and I was buying this card again, I'd probably go for a 400 or maybe 500W PSU.  Hope this helps!

That is correct. The only reason this card would be 10 dollars more is because of the dual fans. It does take up more space, which is definitely something to keep in mind when buying this card.

I believe you mean half height card. No, this is not a low profile card. Msi does make a low profile version with the extra half height mounting plate for the back of the case.

IT is go wit the whole name of "GTX 1050 Ti 4GT ". It is the name of the processor for the graphic card. I would focus on the other information. For example, GTX is designed for gaming and high-end graphic card. 1050 shows the year model and level of the processor. 10xx means it is 10th generation (manufactured in 2016). xx50 is the level of the processor. Just keep in mind xx50 < xx60 < xx70. 4GB is the memory size. 128-bit is the speed of processing input information.
