Pros: Great price Phenomenal aesthetics Quiet (At first)
Cons: After less than 6 months of use air got in the system and now my CPU can be used to cook a steak.
Overall Review: Would I recommend this? No. Not unless the person buying this likes hearing bubbles ticking away endlessly in the coolant pump and having absolutely no recourse for getting it fixed. This item supposedly comes with a 5 year parts and labor warranty. I reached out to MSI about this and they said, "Yes it comes with a warranty, you just have to fill out a RMA form." So I registered my cooler, clicked the option to open a warranty request and boom, rerouted to the Support website. Whole lot of nothing. I got a link from a MSI Support technician who I feel genuinely tried to help me and gave me a link to an RMA form. I filled it out in detail and clicked submit to get, you guessed it, nothing. No confirmation of submission either from my email or the site itself. I'm to the point of just saying screw it and buying a different cooler from another company and throwing this one away. If you need a cooler for your CPU, buy something else. This one isn't worth the head aches
Pros: Nice RGB
Cons: Poor build quality,
Overall Review: I purchased this AIO cooler at the end of 2020, and built my new computer in Jan 2021. At the beginning of Dec. 2021 my CPU temps started spiking out of the blue. I checked everything from my thermal paste application to the fan headers to ensure it was functional, and nothing. This thing was dead. In less than a year this thing crapped out. I will never buy another MSI AIO.
Pros: - Looks good IMO - ARGB fans included - Kept CPU cool when it worked - Included all the brackets and cables and instructions were fairly clear on how to install
Cons: - Pump completely failed within a year of using it causing CPU to overheat - Fans are extremely loud - Pathetic support from MSI (see review below)
Overall Review: As mentioned, fan looked great and worked great until it didn't. Around 9 months into using it, starting hearing noises from the radiator/pump, and it completely failed close to the 11 months in, with CPU temp spiking to ~100 C at idle. Looks like all other negative reviews have mentioned the same and should have taken heed, but this was one of the few that provided ARGB fans out of the box(which kept the overall cost down), which I only realized now are terrible and loud AF. MSI support also sucks. Half their support links are broken; "Get Support" takes you to their home page, and "Live Chat" only links to unrelated FAQ and Forum and there is no real link to actually start a live chat. Managed to figure out how to contact support using a generic link and the response I got was "It's just an issue with the pump. Take it to the dealer you bought it from for warranty"! Why would I need to contact Newegg for warranty when it supposedly has 5 yr manufacturer warranty? Responded to that 2 days ago and still haven't gotten any response. Save yourself some trouble and choose another AIO. This is almost guaranteed to fail and when it does, good luck trying to get it repaired.
Pros: - Easy to assemble - runs quietly - awesome design - light-up fans - RGB lightings works well well Mystic Light
Cons: make sure your PC case supports this device
Overall Review: I would recommend this to anyone. It's easy to assemble, runs quietly, awesome design, comes with light-up fans and as a bonus the RGB lightings works well well Mystic Light.
Overall Review: This cooler failed on me after 6 months. Going with Murphy's Law, I discovered the failure while starting a bitlocker encryption of my C: drive, at which point the CPU overheated and did a safety shutoff. Will never buy another MSI heat sink or liquid cooler again.
Pros: If it last more than 7 months youre good
Cons: Only lasts like 6 moths
Overall Review: Bought this cooler on 11/12/2020, started having cooling problems in the beginning of this month 05/07/2022 the pump started making weird noises about a month ago and just gave up for the price I got ir for its not worth, Fans are so loud
Pros: -I paid a good price for.
Cons: -The AIO worked out of the box but after few times my computer started to freeze randomly. In first I thought it was software related so I did remove few one. PC been working fine after this but this morning the nightmare started. My computer was able to boot on but after few minutes it was getting frozen. I decided to troubleshoot the issue and while opening the PC I was able to notice heat around the CPU. I did reboot my computer and check for the CPU core temperatures. All the cores was running between 90 and 99 degree. While removing the AIO heatsink I did notice that the thermal past was completely cooked. Than I installed the stock CPU cooler and check back. The temperatures for each cores was under 40 degree. I did a test while the AIO was still pugged in and I was able to heat the heatsink pad with my hand. Now I have to deal with MSI RMA and we are in holyday so slow service. I also expect to have problem with the RMA process as it was saying that this is the wrong serial number on their site but I did verify on the box and the hardware and its the right one so I sent the RMA request with finger crossed that it will work.
Overall Review: -I would not recommend this product at all. -I have been satisfied by MSI motherboard in the past but the quality for AIO is horrible. -I had a refurbish Corsair AIO for more than 5 years in a computer running 24/7 without any issue. -If given the choice again, I would stay with corsair and avoid MSI at any cost.
Overall Review: Started hearing a grinding noise in the pump after a couple months and slowly began having major cooling issues. Upon researching other reviews I noticed some others complaining of the same grinding. Still not sure if the pump went out or the water just wasn't circulating. CPU would boot at around 40 degrees and idle around 50-60. It would begin rising to 80+ Celsius just doing basic tasks like watching youtube videos. reinstalled my old basic fan cooler and my cpu is now idling around 25~ degrees. I'm bummed this thing was a dud. It was fairly easy to install and looked great inside my tower.
