Where is the picture of the I/O? that's the first thing I look at.

I downloaded the manual from MSI before I bought it. Built computer for friend. He took 2 pictures of the IO. The shield is integrated, not separate. Hope this helps.

What audio is being used? ACL897?

Realtek® ALC897 Codec as the vendor website specs specify. (An AE-5 user, however).
