Is this board white or silver?  Looking to do an all white build.

For me, the portions of the board that look white are more of a silver-white.  The rest was the typical dark green.  I purchased mine about 3 years ago.

I want to use this motherboard with an rtx 4090 and 2 m2 ssds (pcie 4.0 x4 and pcie 3.0 x4). Which m2 slots should I use if I want the 4090 to run at pcie 4.0 x16?

Answering that one for myself: After looking up the manual and online: I think as long as one doesn't use M2_1 slot it should be okay. I've used M2_2 and M2_5 personally.

good cooler for this with intel 19-13900 running cpu @ 100% 24/7 for grid computing worldcommunitygrid projects?

Since it's a 13900K I'd recommend going for a 3 fan (360mm) AIO cooler to get rid of the heat it produces.
Then it's a matter of flavor: There's plenty of these AIOs here on Newegg, many are good choices (Check the ratings).
I personally would probably go for something like the "MSI MAG Core Liquid P360" - which seems to be a decent
no frills cooler with good cooling performance (yet no RGB or similar, which wouldn't bother me).

Note: AIOs have a lifespans. The MSI MAG Core Liquid P360 for example has a lifespan for the fans of 70000 hours.
If my math is correct that would be around 8 years. Pump is rated at 100000 hours, so fans should die first.
You will loose a bit the cooling liquid during use as well, especially since you'll be heavily using it it seems.
I'd hope for a lifespan of 3 years in your usecase and take everything beyond that as a bonus.

Question 8

Can you turn the onboard 1x usb 3.0 into 2x 3.0 with a splitter or do I need a pcie hub? It says in the specs that it supports an additional 2x usb 3.0 but, I'm not sure how that works?

The motherboard has 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps connector (From Hub GL3523) which supports an additional 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps ports.
