I am always cautious of cheap components. Not saying it's a bad card or bad deal, but does it have any compatibility issues with current generation games?

I'm sorry but I really don't play games with this device.  Therefore, I don't think I can help you with that application.
I purchased it because of the heavy video graphics I need for Movie editing, Photo editing, and Cakewalk Sonar music recording interface. Also, the ability to support multiple monitor outputs. Of course there is the advertised 4GD3 4GB 128-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready ATX Video Card write-up.  I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES SO FAR.  And I use this card almost daily for just about 1 year.  Also my general system performance increased.
My system is basically an ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 MB with 32GB RAM and running Windows 7 PRO 64 bit. Along with a bunch of Video and Audio Recording Applications.
If this card finally gives out I would buy another!

is this SLI compatible i see its a nvidia card?

No, this card does NOT have the SLI interface on top of the card for SLI connectivity.  Not ALL nVidia cards support SLI.  It also doesn't have the additional power connector for additional power, which SLI definitely requires.  However, for my application (watching Youtube and Amazon videos on my Home Theatre system) it works beautifully, and the HDMI sound is very rich.  I did however have to swap in a 450W power supply, which I already expected I'd have to do for this.  For running Linux (Linux Lite), I needed only to download the "current" nVidia driver to get 1920x1080 operational.  Then, just had to ensure my main CPU could push it (2+ core), and opened up the network buffering.  Good price, great card for what I'm using it for.  When you review the specs for nVidia cards, make sure it says "SLI" if you need that.  Don't just guess.  And, Yes, it's gona cost you for that new feature.

Hello, I have a ASRock 970 EXTREME4 motherboard. It has a PCI express 2.0 16, will this video card work?

Since you have a PCIe 2.0 slot, you will not get the full bandwidth available from the card, but it should still work. You can probably find a card with a better gpu with a 2.0 interface for the same price. It will probably outperform this card because of the bottleneck. The only reason I would recommend this card for your setup is if you want it for 4K displays or DirextX12. If you buy it for 4K capabilities, it should stream well, but don't expect games to be rendered in 4k smoothly because of the 2.0 bottleneck.

I know this is not considered a gaming card, but would this work for World of Warcraft if played on the lowest settings? The graphics card I am currently using can not handle the game.

I can play games such as Dirty Bomb and CS:GO at 60-70 FPS on High and other games such as H1Z1 at medium at 60 and others on medium on 30-60. This is a decent graphics card I would recommend for the price

Tend run into issue when nvidia and amd or and R9 with a R7 and to take in account motherboard aswell best way buy 2 same cards avoid all trouble

Have a PCIe 2.0 MB running a MSI GX 630 card now! Will this one work ok?

This card is PCIe 3.0, so you wouldn't get the advantage of the extra bandwidth from the newer technology, but you should still notice a considerable improvement, especially if you are rendering in 4K resolution. Also, the new Directx 12 API is producing much faster framerates due to using more than one thread to communicate with the GPU. Software hasn't caught up yet, but soon Directx 12 will be the standard. The improvements are so dramatic that we won't witness the lull we have seen in the past with previous Directx versions.
