Do I need to buy an ethernet netowrk card to use wired connection with this motherboard?
(thought: PC building is a headache and you just hope that you made the right choices)

The X370 has an on board Ethernet controller. You do not need a separate network card for a wired connection.

(Suggestion: If you are not coming from a strong computer or electronic related background or are building recreationally, do some research before purchasing parts and figure out what you need before spending a single dime on any part. Saves you the headache, and ensures the right choices. If you think gathering parts is hard, you're in for an even rougher ride.)

is this board RYZEN ready ....?

Its ryzen 1 ready out of the box so anything ryzen 1*00 the 2 series I don't know about but if it is will need a bios update of some sort.

the BIOS was not updated when I ordered mine the ryzen series had just released though MSI makes it extremely easy to flash the BIOS with a thumb drive their step-by-step procedures on their website to allow for easy bios flashing you should have 0 problems. if you do not Flash the BIOS if it is not updated then your RAM will only be 1600 megahertz dual-channel if you update it will be able to achieve 3200 megahertz dual-channel.

Can you use old DDR3 1866 memory on this board, does it matter that it is 240 pin vs 288 pin?

DDR3 will not work on any B350 or X370 motherboards. Won't even fit in the slot, let alone boot should you manage to get it installed.

Question 5

A double sized Graphics card (like an EVGA 1080 sc2) won't block the M.2 or get in the way of one will it?

The m.2 slot is right under the first pcie slot. And yes the graphics card will get in the way of it. So when you start the build, install the m.2 memory before the graphics card.

does this work with the ryzen 1600?

It should, search for the cpu support page for this motherboard on the msi site. Use google or bing though, you can't browse to this mobo on the msi site

I wouldn't know for certain about the sticker, I've had mine installed for a bit. What I can say is MSI announced that all their  X370 boards have updated BIOS and ready for 2nd Gen Ryzen Processors. Worst case scenario you have to do a BIOS update, which with these new motherboards is pretty easy.

ryzen 2200  g will it work  .......?

From my knowledge a bios flash will be necessary prior to the installation of a Ryzen 2. This means you would need  another CPU to install, flash,  then install a Ryzen 2. I would do research to make sure. An X470 or B450 will work out of the box.

Question 9

I have not done a build in quite a few years and was thinking of pairing this with a Corsair Mid Tower namely the Carbide think I would have issues with room for the build? (Ryzen 7 - 16 Gigs DDR - EVGA 1060 6GB.

It will really depend on what you are going to run for "other" components.  If you are going to run a gaming machine, the 1060 is gonna run a little hot and you need room around it for cooling or you need a direct cooling source.  Also, your processor/cpu cooling combo can get pretty big when you are looking at a gaming rig if you want it relatively silent.  As long as you stick to one of the models that gives you airflow room you will be just fine.

Can you use windows 7 for this board?

Yes. You may install any operating system on this board so long as the processor supports it. Which all the processors that fit on this board will run Windows 7. :)
