I have been seeing responses on reddit saying you want to use 3 separate cables and to not use the splitters that some PSU cables have. It's best to use 3 separate cables than 2 cables with one of them connecting twice.

Will this work with a intel i7 10700k 8 core processor with a gigabyte Z490 Aorus ultra Motherboard? I am a newbie so I know nothing about computer’s. I am trying to build a good computer for Microsoft flight sim 2020. If you have any suggestions that would be awesome. Thanks.

Part of the previous comment is correct. Yes, make sure you have a big enough case. If you are unsure, go to the specs of your case and look for something along the lines of "Maximum GPU Length" and compare that length to the GPU's length. You will most likely need a inches-millimeters converter on google. And I would go for at least 850w. This card uses 3 whole 8 pin power connectors and can draw absured amount of power, not counting power spikes.

If you want to be absolutely optimal, each connector to the video card should be on its own cable from the power supply. It will probably work with two total cables from the PSU, but your performance may take a hit if the card isn't getting enough power.

Is this card version sold here going to be the V2 with the 2 MLCC arrays between the 4 POSCAPs, or the V1 with 1 MLCC with the 5 POSCAPs?

From the picture it looks like it's the 1 MLCC and 5 POSCAP. This may be an outdated newegg picture as stuff has probably changed about crashing issues. But as of now, it shows the 1 and 5 array.

will this fit the Asus X399 E-gaming?

It will fit most, if not all modern motherboards. It being able to fit in your setup depends on your case and it's size, as well as your cooling setup (fans, radiators, tubing, etc) as well as if there are any HD cages in the way for such a large card.

No you can't, the only 3000 card in Nvidia's lineup that can do SLI is the 3090, and you can only do two 3090s max.

will this card require PCI express 4.0 or can I just use a PCI express 3.0?

You can use it on pci 3. Its compatible with PCI 4, but in reality it wont saturate pci 3. It was using about 3-5% of my pci 3 bandwith according to GPUZ

Will this fit the HP Omen  880-040?

Measure the length from the pcie slot on the motherboard to the end of the case and look at the length of the GPU. If the length of the gpu is too long then it won't fit.
