I have a 2k and 4k monitor at home, will they run stable with 1 of these?

That's going to depend on what you're going to be doing with those monitors.  Browsing, word processing, youtube watching, videos etc... it'll handle all of those while connected to a 4k monitor.

For gaming, it'll handle a good chunk of games at 2k, but probably not at a steady/consistent 60fps.  4K gaming on this card is non-existent.  It'll be a slide show.

How do you crossfire if their is no crossfire bridge connector?

Unlike SLI, crossfire does not require (or even have the option of using) a bridge connector. You just need to verify that your motherboard is crossfire compatible, and the motherboard will handle the connection between the two once you've set it up software wise on your computer.

Say you already have this card in the rx 480 variant. Since this is still polaris based card, could you run a rx480 and a 2nd rx 580 in Xfire? I know you cant normally run different models of cards in dual gpu, but since this is just a refresh of the same archectiture was curious if it would be possible??

No, you canNOT crossfire a 580 and 480 as they are. The 580 has changes at a hardware level within the physical GPU itself. Although, you might be able to flash a vbios to the 480 with a 580 rom. As the other answers have hinted at though, you will be limited to the lesser of the two.

Does this item support multiple GPU's?

Yes, but of course it's dependent on the software.  I use a pair for password cracking (security assessments), and in my leisure time I game with them.  Not all games fully support multiple GPUs.

Is anybody having problems with the fans chattering? Mine are periodically chattering at any RPM, and the card is only a couple months old.

I own two of these in a mGPU configuration - have owned them for about a year now. I run them fairly hard (high resolution eyefinity gaming) and keep the rpms below 1800 and have no issues with the fans. Temps won't go above 71C with my wattman fan profile, and fans are quieter than my ThorV2 case fans.

Assuming you mean a "squeaky" chatter noise - my guess is maybe you have a bad bearing? My suggestion is to take the card out and see if you can reproduce the noise by spinning the fans with your fingers - this could POSSIBLY cobfirm/deny if it's the fans making the noise and whether or not it's possibly a bearing/motor, I'd return it for a new one at that point.

i bought this card and after turning it on for only the 4th time it suddenly stopped and produced a weird burn smell. i immediately stopped the power supply and unplugged it. it was weird because i had 4 cards connected and only one got ruined. How do i know if it is included in the warranty or not? and how do i proceed with the process?
