I Need confirmation, These are CASE FANS
correct?
If not, are they usable as ones?

Yes, they are case fans.  They are variable speed fans that can be controlled by the motherboard.  I installed four (4) of these fans in a new computer that I assembled last month.

Does this work with molex fan controllers?

In short, no because it only comes with power cables for the motherboard and not Molex connections.  There may be adapters you can purchase, but right out of the box it only has connections for the motherboard CPU fan connections.

Question 3

As this is out of stock and may not be restocked, does anyone know where else I can find the MSI Torx? Can't seem to locate another source.

i orderd this on 5-3-2017 when the site said they were in stock, i even got a tracking #, now dhl has not received my item from newegg and i just spoke with them today 5-8-2017, msi does not even sell them and as far as i can tell newegg is the only seller of these, bummer cause i got the msi torx cpu cooler and its mean, wanted another for push pull setup and i believe im stuck
