Is there room to add more memory and a second hard drive?

The trident casing and mainboard have two DDR4 SODIMM slots, so you could replace the current single 8GB stick, or simply add to it. The included memory is only DDR4-2133, so it may be worth considering upgrading the whole thing to a dual-channel set at 2400 or faster, as RAM pricing allows.

As to storage, the included drive in the configuration here is a single 2.5" HDD, which can be swapped with any 2.5" SATA drive, HDD or SSD. Using good cloning/migration software, this could be fairly painless. However, there does not seem to be room for any additional internal drives, as they've already crammed an impressive array into such a tight space, even given the thermal limits.

Is this brand new or refurbished?  Because the list price is way below the map price?
