Question 2

Will this work with an i7 4770k? 
I plan to eventually upgrade to a new cpu when I have the money but I am going to use that cpu with this Motherboard and buy new DDR4 ram.

So will I be okay?

No. The 4770k uses a different socket than what's on this motherboard. You will need to buy a compatable processor as well.

As a side note, if you're gaming you really don't need to upgrade your processor/motherboard/ram at this time. Your money would be better spent on a new GPU or SSD.

Can i put a samsung m.2 ssd on this?

Yes. The board comes with 2x PCI-E M2 ports. You did not list a brand or what you are purchasing but please consult the MSI site for a list of compatible brands. That does not mean other brands will not work (although possibility) but could cause compatibility issues and require BIOS tweaking, etc.

Go to the MSI site for this motherboard and click the compatibility tab midway down the page. That will give you a list of compatible brands.

Lots of users report that this mobo is quite buggy.  Have these issues been addressed and resolved by MSI yet?

I know you mentioned its buggy, but I do not know exactly what you meant. Did you read the reviews?
I am not a big gamer. Slightly 1 or 2 I play. I am pretty much for Photo and video editing. I am not sure what exactly you're looking for the buggy information, you would've  been more specific.

People complained about BIOS, Memory issues. So far I do not have any issues with it. I have updated to latest BIOS updates too.

Please let me know any specific issues.

I'm looking to replace my mobo with this one and was wondering if I can use my current power supply with it, it's a 1200 w silent pro gold. I have never carried parts over before but would hate to replace this thing cus its awesome but would like to know for sure?

Hey Sandro - I don't have your specific PSU, but the 850W Corsair unit I use works just fine with the MOBO and all the high-end parts attached to it.  You should be better than fine as far as power goes.

I have re-used PSUs in new computer builds before and had absolutely no problems.  You just need to make sure you have the right connectors for the MOBO.  The Z170A is pretty standard so you will need one 8-pin 12 V ATX connector and a 24-pin ATX main power connector.

This board worked great day one. The bridges remain cool even under heavy strain. I have the greatest things to say about msi product. I have yet to be let down. The bios is great if easy to use to overclock or just set manual fan speeds. If you are looking for a performance mobo, this competes with other z170 pro boards.

Please help I searched and got different results. This motherboard with i7-6700k what DDR4 ram speed  I can go with for gaming purposes? GPU will be MSI 970 or 980ti. Thank you.

I have this motherboard and the extreme power titanium version and neither will accept 4 slots of RAM no matter what you do. From reading the forums this is a very common problem with no apparent workaround. I've got 3 slots running with 24 GB of RAM.

Question 8

I see that there are no USB 3.0 headers on the motherboard for the front panel connections on the case. Does that mean I can't plug in a USB 3.0 Header on the case to the motherboard?

Usb 3.0 doesn't really have Headers, at least not like usb 2.0.  The connection to the Usb 3.0 is similar to a sata connection. It's not exposed on the board, but it is clearly labeled. This board does indeed have a usb 3.0 connector on it, and connected to my case it works flawlessly.  The usb 2.0 headers work well too.

Does this motherboard support bluetooth? I've only found this feature on the Z170A GAMING M9, but it´s a little bit out of budget. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by "support bluetooth". It does not have a bluetooth antenna built in but you can easily get a bluetooth adapter, either usb or an internal one. Very few motherboards actually have a built in bluetooth antenna as it's not very commonly used anymore.

Is this board compatible with two GPU's?

Will I be able to add a second GPU later? Are these all compatible?

Yes, this motherboard is compatible with two GPU's. I bought a GTX 980ti that takes up a lot of space, and I still would have enough room to put a second one in. The heatsink behind the PCIe slots seems higher in the picture than it actually is on the board.

As for your parts list, they are all compatible for the board. Just remember that the i7-6700K does not come with a stock cooling fan, so you'll either have to get a cooling fan, or if adventurous do some water cooling.
