Will an MSI GeForce GTX 1060 video card fit on this MB?

As near as I can tell, there are many dozen different 1060 models available on the market.  Even if this mobo is able to fit and run with a particular model of 1060, you may also find yourself with a case that is too small or a power supply that is lacking.  I'd recomment pcpartpicker (url's are not allowed in answers) to identify my particular component combinations and provide invaluable feedback when either technical specs or physical dimensions are conflicting or downright incompatible. is this motherboard vr ready?

It's not what I use it for, but I've read about some builds that successfully use this motherboard for VR.  You're going to need to focus a LOT more on the GPU (graphics card) than the motherboard it sits on if you're interested in running a VR rig.  You'll probably also need something bigger if you're going to develop VR vs. just running some commercial programs.  As always, Google is your friend and PCPartPicker will help you avoid any component mismatches/incompatibilities if you've got some specific VR needs in mind.
