Has anybody Partitioned this drive and used it in a Dual Boot config?  If so, how did it work out?

I have, however. For my application (Windows 10 and Ubuntu), I felt like I needed to format and set my boot track as MBR and not GPT, and used Legacy booting (not UEFI.) It seemed to make the Ubuntu installation easier.

Does anyone know which flash memory controller this drive uses?  A related question: Does the cache have DRAM?

It does not have a dram cache so that is why the first person said he return due to poor performance

Is this SSD made in the USA?

Short answer: No.
Long answer:
My particular unit was assembled in Mexico.
As I do not wish to void my warranty by disassembling it, the origin of the silicon inside could have been from anywhere.
That said, I can reasonably guess that it was not the USA, as there is minimal memory manufacturing occurring there.

None. If you need to software clone your existing drive or shrink it to a smaller SSD then by a Samsung EVO 860/970/PRO. Samsung Magician Software is a free download and supports cloning to any Samsung EVO or higher drive.

Considering these for RAID 6 internal array (4x1) for a bunch of VMs in differing roles, anyone using in a similar configuration?
