Do you have to use the Nero GUI? I use WMC as my main interface on my HTPC is why I ask, and I don't want to change that and retrain the wife. Thanks.

No, just set your defaults to the program yolike.and there is options in setup ( custom ) to choose what ext tTe program uses

I have the Nero 2014 Platinum and it will not accept my serial number that came with the package. it said that the serial number des not match the product.?

first off,  try to uninstall it totally, something like REVO  uninstaller works well b/c is searches registry  for any left over hooks.  if you are  comfortable  you can manually clear it,  BUT BE VERY CAREFUL ,  IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING  DO NOT ATTEMPT IT,  then reboot and try another fresh install . dbl checking  the key  that you were given.  if it still wont accept it contact NERO and make sure you have al lreciepts on hand.  you also didnt mention it  you bought  the digital download   or  the physical rom's . if you bought  the  key, make sure you are downloading the proper version of the software. and do not upgrade anything untill  you get it registered.

Question 3

Won't install on W8 64bit. All latest updates installed. "reboot pending" repeatedly with no success. No refunds on downloads. Did I just get scammed?

I have not had a problem with mine and I am running Windows 8 64 bit if you download it via internet it might have been corrupted the installationI would ask for the  the DVD version and try installing it directly I don't believe you've been scammed if you bought it from Newegg the difference is I have high speed internetthrough Comcast and I have never had a problem when I've downloaded a pprogramI hope this helps you.

Can I install the product on more than one computer in my household?

Look on nero . com FAQ's.

It says:
If you own only one serial number for Nero you are allowed to install the software on only one PC / laptop. You can find this information in the EULA of the software.

To install it on a second PC / laptop you need to buy a second license.
