Well, after looking over the packaging for the software the information only states that it will work on Windows operating systems.  There is no mention of Mac OS versions anywhere, but again, that is what my version of Nero Burn Express 3 states.  Maybe there is a totally separate packaging design and release for the Mac version.  Wish I could help you better...!

will this create dvds that will play on a regular dvd player?

Hi, Yes I believe it will, you just have to make sure it is in the correct format and I think you have to "close" the DVD out after burning. This prevents you from writing additional stuff to the DVD latter. BUT it allows it to play on other DVD players. If you use the format that allows you to add files at a latter date, it most likely won't play on any other DVD players on othe machines, etc.

Yes, the software is compatible with Windows 7 (64 bit), at least it is with my system which run this particular OS.  I have never had any issues with Nero Burn Express 7, no crashes, no freeze ups...it does what I expect it to do.  I basically have the software for blu ray disc burning and it completes that task flawlessly; no coasters!  Hope this helps!

Can this software be used to just play Blu-Ray movies? I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and have just discovered that I don't have Windows Media Player anymore.  Constructive suggestions would be welcomed!  Thanks in advance.

You cannot use Nero Burn Express 3 to play Blu-ray movies.  IMHO, I really like the fact that the software is just for burning and doesn't include the bloatware of it's more expensive brethren.  If you like Windows Media Player, then go to the Microsoft Store, pay for it and download it (I don't think it is very costly).  Otherwise, try downloading a free open source player. VLC Media Player comes to mind.

does this convert internet movie downloads to play on dvd?

From my limited experience with the application what it does is create DVDs or Blu Ray discs from video files that have already been converted for the discs.  I purchased the software because I needed something to create Blu Ray discs with and that is what I use it for.  You may need some video conversion software to get the video files to play on a DVD; unless it's a data disc that can be read by your device.  I hope this helps!
