So will this completely replace the modem that comes from century link?

Question 2

Is the USB port on this a 2.0 or a 3.0?  The photo shows it blue which is usually 3.0 but I've seen other photos showing it as black.

Mine looks like a 2.0 - it is black and has only one set of contacts.  There is nothing in the documentation about it except what it is for, how to use it, and its limitations.  Netgear might have upgraded without notice.

Internet from comcast comes in through a coax cable. Does this have a coax input as it is a combo modem & router ?

No, it does not have a coax input. It has an ADSL line, the usual ethernet connections and a USB port.

Why can't I click on the "Specifications" tab on the web page?

Don't know.  Sounds like NewEgg failed to include detailed specs. You can usually go to the manufacturer's website and search the model you are interested in.  They _usually_ have good information.  Searches often turn up additional information.

Is the DGN2200 DOCSIS 3.0?

DOCSIS 3.0 refers to a cable modem.  Not a DSL modem.  DSL modems operate through telephone lines.

Question 6

Anybody know what the downstream speed of the DSL?
I currently have a century link modem and am not sure what its down stream speed is and if it is as fast as this one.

Upstream/Downstream is not about the modem but your line speed. Check your Centuretel phone bill for that speed.

If you are wanting to know about throughput or maximum packets in/out, you will probably have to email Netgear directly. Most home router units do not have that information as most people are limited to line speed and will never come close to what the unit can actually do.

As for overall speed of the router, I replaced mine with this one and it did help improve performance and gave me some features my old router didnt have. I like it a lot.
