Hello, I was wondering if this can be used as a router?

This is just a switch, which is used to connect network devices like PCs and printers together, it is not a router.
A router like the Netgear AC1750 has a small 4-port switch built-in, and if all you have is one or two network devices, that would be all you would need.

can it be used for cameras ?

Depends what kind of cameras your talking about.  Analog ccd cameras no.  Ip cameras yes.  However this does not have power over etherenet so you will have to either use power injectors or power the camera at its location if you use this switch.  Hope that helps ya.

Does this switch have any issues working on a Mac based network? Does it play well with the new Airport Extreme?

Although I don't have experience with this switches direct interaction with an AirPort Extreme base station or even a time capsule, I can say that it shouldn't matter what OS the machines, which are interacting, are running.

That said, I have this setup on my Mac network, somewhere between my xServe (which hosts my NAT and DHCP server, among other things) and it's performed as to be expected. Which is to say as a switch should.

I don't see any potential issues with using it on an AirPort Extreme based network, although I've never done it. But again, shouldn't make a difference.

Does this come with a fan installed?

No, these units do not need a fan. Fans are limited life components, for sure.  A fan installed is a part that will eventually go bad (clogging) and will create unwanted noise in your area and also cause problems you want to avoid.  Please note these units come with a lifetime warranty.  I have used quite a few of these and they work great.

what type power cord comes with this?  I see its capable of 100-240V power supplies.  Looking for a C13-C14 power cord

Standard wall plug power cable is included with this switch. I assume you're looking for a server-class power cable (PDU-to-switch), which is available via several online sources at a reasonable price.
