I see two comments that the refurb had the serial number blacked out. Are ALL the refurbs that way?

My serial number was not blacked out on my unit. I've heard from some IT friends that the reasoning behind the blacked out number is because when they get refurbished, sometimes the guts get switched with another unit and then the numbers don't match between the case and internals. It's not a huge deal considering these are refurbed by the manufacturer. Hopefully this helps clear up some of the confusion as to why these come this way.

Since it is a factory referb, does it still have the warrantee?
