Is there a demo site available from the manufacturer to be able to log in and see and workon the interface?

Hi Chris,  I'm not aware of any site to do this.  I am using 2 of these and am very happy with them.  I also use an older fvs model and it too is still in service.  One of the best things about this model is that you can purchase a support contract from netgear for very little ($100 year or so) and it is a bargain when setting up new features as they will walk you thru the set up.

I would like to buy the unit but want you to please send me instructions on how to connect my two ADSL modems to this unit and to set-up the Fail Over settings?

You would connect the two modems from their LAN Ethernet RJ-45 ports to the WAN RJ-45 ports on the SRC5308 unit.  Then follow the setup instructions for your specific scenario (Auto-Failover, in this case, I believe) from a computer's browser connected to the SRX5308 unit.  I googled the manual using "SRC5308 manual" to give me a PDF of the details.
