i set this up...and it doesnt seem like its prepared for a password?

OK, First thing, the documentation that came with this unit was abysmal. Go to Netgears webpage and follow the setup directions there under support. Second, when I set my unit up (after fighting with the included instructions for 45 minutes before finding the online documents) setup was plug and play. I plugged in the unit and the Ethernet cable, it found the router (also a Netgear piece of equipment, YMMV), attached itself to the network, and I had to do nothing, as my wireless devices simply logged on using the routers' password. Hope your setup is as easy! There is a method to change the access point password if you wish. That is where the online docs will be of assistance.

Will this work with POE  Injecter?

NO, it does NOT SUPPORT POE.  It comes with a power adapter like a normal consumer device.  See the knowledge base: kb netgear com, search for WAC120.
