OVERVIEW

The Nexen Roadian CT8 HL is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles and light trucks.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The enhanced number of biting edges increases the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability and power. The all weather performance is further improved as the tread design's three wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The combination of the tread design and hydroplaning resistance enhance the year round driving experience.

The maintained road contact of the ribbed tread pattern enhances the model's controllability. The ribbed design maintains constant road contact, improving the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the steering responsiveness becomes quick and precise while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The reinforced shoulder ribs enhance the cornering ability and power with additional biting edges. The result is a comfortable and responsive handling.

The tread design features square-shaped dimples between the tread blocks. They enhance the tread stability and prevent tread flexing even under head load and during harsh braking or cornering. The maintained stability enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking manages to prevent irregular wear formations across the tread area.
