What is the size?

Nexus FF-120 mm fan filter is just slightly larger than 120 mm, about 122 mm. It consists of a base plate, foam filter, and snap on outer cover which holds the filter in place. The filter does a good job of reducing the dust inside the case. But the filter needs to be cleaned about once a month, to keep airflow efficient.

Question 2

How do you install this? There are screw holes on only one side of the casing.

Accepted Answer

Install it by driving the screws through the case sheet metal and into the provided holes.  You may need to drill your case for the holes.  To mark the holes for spacing, first create a template of the filter screw holes by laying a piece of paper over the holes, then punch through the paper to mark where the screws go.  Use this paper template as a guide for drilling.  Enjoy!

Is the filter part replaceable?

Yes, presumably, tho' I haven't done any massive investigation.
It's synthetic and could be washed with detergent-water, rinsed with water, and dried. It's not a cheap foam and seems to have some "body" to it.
