Does this padlock have built-in Wi-Fi?
No. This model connects to the TTLock app through nearby Bluetooth. Your phone must be close to the padlock to connect and unlock it through the app. It does not support long-distance unlocking over the internet.
Is the TTLock app free?
TTLock app offers free basic setup, Bluetooth unlocking, and user management—no subscription required. Optional paid cloud features don't affect fingerprint, Bluetooth, or key access.
Will an unenrolled fingerprint open the lock?
After admin fingerprint enrolled correctly, unregistered fingers must not unlock. Test with unregistered fingers before use. If any opens, reset and re-enroll admin. If persists, stop use and contact NexusLab via .
Is the lock completely waterproof?
It is IP67 rated for normal outdoor exposure to rain, snow and dust. Keep the fingerprint cover closed when the sensor is not in use. The padlock is not intended for prolonged underwater use or continuous submersion.
How many fingerprints can it hold, and can a stranger program their own print?
It stores up to 50 different fingerprints. Only the Administrator, using the TTLock app, can add or delete entries. A stranger cannot register their fingerprint without the Administrator's app permission – ensuring your security.
