The cup is made of glass. Is it easy to break? Can it go in the dishwasher?
This mini chopper features thickened, food-grade glass that’s more durable than standard glass and resists stains. While hand washing is recommended to extend its life, the glass cup, blade, and splash guard is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
How do I make it work?
This chopper uses a press-to-start mechanism. Simply place the motor unit on top of the glass cup and press down on the “PUSH” area—it starts immediately. Release, and it stops. The blades only spin when you’re actively pressing.
Is it easy to clean? I’m worried about garlic smell getting stuck.
The smooth glass surface doesn’t hold onto stains or smells, so a quick rinse with water usually does the trick. No lingering garlic smell like you get with plastic cups. For the blade, use a dish brush and be careful not to touch the sharp edges.
How much can it chop at once? Will it jam or get stuck?
It’s a compact size, so it works best with small batches. If you overfill it, the blades may stop automatically. Pulse in short bursts instead of pressing continuously for more even chopping. For chopping firmer foods, cut into smaller pieces first.
