Overall Review: This was overall, a nice all-in-one card reader. I originally purchased it to add a CF reader to an aging computer. This device got the job done. The SATA cable was plenty long as well as the USB cable (this went into a mid-tower with the internal USB connection being on the far side of the motherboard). Just to note: I did notice the USB slot on the card was upside-down.

Pros: Price. Features. Cabling is long enough for most installations. Has eSATA port which is good.

Cons: Manual stinks and was written by someone that couldn't translate to English.

Overall Review: Will have to see how long it lasts as I got it for a new system build I got through NewEgg

Pros: -The card reader was packaged well. -Literature was included in the box. -Screws were included. -SATA cable was included -Fit into a standard 3.5" bay just fine -Installed itself on XP and Vista (so it didn't need to come with a driver CD) -Added 4 new drives to my computer -It read all my flash cards (Exception: I did not have Smart Media to test) -Copying from card-to-card worked -USB port worked, and also copied USB-to-card -Has eSATA -Can indeed boot from anything -Bezel is delightfully plain and looks professional

Cons: -"Locked" or "Protected" flash memory is written to regardless of switch. -The cards stick out alot as other reviews stated. Like 3/4th of a card sticks out. -USB port is upside down. There is no remedy; don't even think about it. -The cable that connects the ICR-BB to the USB header is not standard <--- biggest peeve. Some reviews have said they are all white which is simply not true. The cables have individual markings on them to indicate which is which, and there is a legend on the included pamphlet, which depicts a standard USB header and connection for some reason, but does have a diagram for what each connecter (is supposed) to do. If you, for some reason, were to rewire the thing, you would be able to figure it out and keep track of things.

Overall Review: I was nervous dropping $20 on a card reader that had mixed reviews when I could get a $7 one that technically does the same thing. I am very happy with this product, despite its cons. I personally LOVE that the cards stick out, because there's no way I'm losing a SD card and realizing it’s in a reader EVER again. The USB being upside down is not that big of an issue; and again I like it, as it's been mounted in a case that has 3.5" bay going vertical, so the LED is facing me and everything. The eSata is discrete and a really nice addition, if not for the sole purpose of having it. In my heart this is a five egg item, but the practical side of me knows it’s a four because it needs minor adjustments. Ultimately I would recommend sucking up the cons and getting this super sweet card reader. It installed itself. It works. It looks good. It was definitely worth the difference in price.

Pros: Fits easily in 3.5" slot. Comes with its own SATA cable. Card fit firmly.

Cons: Appears to completely ignore the write protect on SD cards.

Overall Review: I tried USB, CF, SD, and MS. Its a pretty nice product despite not paying attention to SD write protect.

Pros: Nice looking, reader slots aren't too deep, e-sata!, awesome price (when I bought it)

Overall Review: I finally moved up to a 16GB SDHC and needed a reader that was compatible with SDHC. This fit the bill quite nicely and it was a pleasant surprise to get front e-sata as an added feature. I like the fact that the various cards don't go too deep into the slots and are, therefore, easier to get a hold of and get out again. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, it did ignore the lock feature on my SD card, allowing me to write and delete a file without a fight. I did verify mine was doing the same thing, but I don't lock my cards so it makes no difference to me. For a dozen bucks delivered, I cannot complain!

Pros: The reader fits well in a floppy drive slot and connects easily to a USB & SATA header. Ubuntu linux and Windows XP immediately recognizes it and sets up the drives. The speed is good and it supports SDHC.

Cons: It is seen as 5 drives by the OS

Overall Review: I do not have any eSATA devices

Pros: - works perfect, no problems with that - adds 4 drives to your "My Computer", but I like that b/c they're each unique and re-nameable - eSata works - works with Vista 64-bit - installs immediately and effortlessly, no external drivers needed.

Cons: - fits pretty crappily. It only fills up ~65% of the 3.5 bay. - screwholes are in odd places, makes it either stick out or be too far recessed. doesn't fit "flush" with the rest of the front plate of my case. - I chose the "sticks out too far" option so I can easily reach it, but that means I can only use 1 screw (out of 3) so the drive rocks up and down if I wiggle it. no big deal.

Overall Review: I would buy it again, regardless of fit. I'm not a big aesthetics person when it comes to my desktop, so the Cons don't bother me. But if you are obsessed with aesthetics and have like sparkly LED fans and color coded wiring, then beware cause this thing fits in pretty wonky.

Pros: I've only used the USB port once and that was to verify that I had connected everything correctly. I needed it to read SD cards. Works very nicely with Kubuntu Linux.

Cons: None really.

Overall Review: I got tired of looking for my small external USB card reader whenever I needed it. I don't anticipate using this very often. It's occasional. I don't have a cable for my daughters' Nikon point & shoot. And sometimes the battery for my Canon T2i needs charging & I transfer the pix using the card reader/writer.
