Does this come with the wire bracket to attach it to a heatsink?

no. it has anti-vibration mounts or fan screws. they are shown in the last picture.

Cons: It would be helpful to have some different silicone plugs to use for attaching to a cpu heatsink. My old Xigmatek cooler uses plugs to attach to the heatsink and I preferred those.

Overall Review: I never knew pc fans could feel so solid! I hope this fan lasts longer than everything it is attached to.
Bought this to replace a dead heatsink fan on my Cooler Master 212 Evo, I broke one of the plastic clips trying to remove the fan after it died. Luckily I have two extra clips. I wish this fan came with some silicone plugs instead for the heatsink.

Are these fans good to use as push radiator fans?

Yes these fans are by far the best fans I've ever had for my radiator. The ff means fan focused so that it directs the airflow into a concentrated space perfect for radiators.

will this work for a 3 pin?

According to Noctua's FAQ on their web site, yes. If your 3-pin connectors don't support voltage-based speed control, they do include a "low noise adapter" that basically drops the voltage a bit by sticking an 80-ohm resistor in the +V line.

Does it come with a Molex adapter?

As the images show, it does not. These fans assume newer motherboards with pins built in for case fans. There are accessory adapters at Newegg should you choose to use Molex.

Is this a good replacement for the stock Hyper Evo 212 fan?

I've had great experiences with these fans. They are relatively quiet and push a good amount of air. I'm not the biggest fan of the color but the quality has always been so good that I buy them anyways.

what is the operating sound level in dBA?

I've heard around 45dbl  at full speed.  I have 2 wrapped around a corsair radiator.  It really isn't that loud. But it's noticeable. They are great fans though.

Question 7

Planning to add this to my Corsair H60, since it only shipped with one fan. Would it perform differently if I mounted it at the front, or back of the radiator (IE in a Push/Pull configuration, would it be better to push, or pull)? Or would it make any difference at all?

This fan is best used against a radiator to make use of it's high static pressure. The difference in performance between push and pull in negligible. Push+pull shows increased cooling, but it is nowhere near the best case scenario of 2x the benefit of either push or pull.

However, having run all configurations in different machines, I HIGHLY  recommend that you only mount fans against radiators in "pull" configuration whenever possible. "Push" results in massive dust build-up against the radiator. This will eventually affect performance and will be difficult to clean.

Will this fan work on a vertical CPU heatsink?

It should work with a vertical or horizontal CPU heatsink. Mine blows air up into my radiator and out of the case. It's working fine. So the front of the fan is facing down in my case.

The 4 pins means that if plugged into a cpu fan header, the computer will be able to modulate the speed of the fan to what is needed, correct?

Yes, but it does not have to be in a CPU fan header. As long as the fan header you plug it into is 4-pin (PWM enabled), the motherboard will give the CPU the ability to control the speed as well  as monitor the speed in the BIOS. That is what the 4 pins are for, power, ground, tach sense, and a line to alter the pulse width of the power going into the fan. If you are plugging it into a CPU fan header, the read out you are looking for will be the CPU fan speed. You will know immediately if it is working. then you just set up a fan profile to match your noise and performance needs.
