If you don't take the download option, what media is used to send you the product??  DVD, USB????

This did not seem clear to me, either. The product I received was a box having only a card (the so-called "PC Card" we assume) inside--no media at all. On this card is a sticker on which is printed a unique Product Key. One is to log onto the indicated website and choose the correct option. At first I had trouble reaching only a dead end at a screen requesting payment, but you must choose the other option for the download with Product Key to be able to enter the key for which you have already paid and then accomplish the install. why can't i download Norton 360 on windows 10 computer ?

You might have to set-up an account with Newegg in order to access the Digital Library found under the “Orders” section of your account. To download your item or receive the code, go to the Digital Library found under the “Orders” section of your account.
For some software (like Norton), you will see a link to download the item. The software is available for PC and Mac so there are 2 links which allow you to download either version depending on which you need.
Some game codes or software will provide you with a link to download the product and provide the key. You will see a button to download the product and a “Send Product Key by Email” link which will send you the key via email. The “Download Product” button will either take you to the site which will allow you to download your product or will provide you with instructions on how to use your key to download the item.

How long do you have to activate this product?  I don't need it until 2024.

I have activated mine after 2 to 3 years using   the mailed version with a product key.  I don't know if the download version has a short time limit.

The 1 year license starts when you activate it on the first device. The devices do not have to be 5 PCs.  The license in addition to PCs, covers Phones or tablets.  I use up 3 of the licenses with one phone and 2 android tablets with Norton Mobile Security installed.  As usual, check the fine print and your app store to see if Norton Mobile is available there.

I currently use Norton Internet Security Deluxe on my 5 devices and have for several years and am happy with the product.  Can I use the Norton 360 Deluxe - Antivirus software product key code to renew my Norton Internet Security subscription when it expires later this year without converting to Norton 360 Deluxe?

I have always used key codes to renew my Norton. Every time I have done so it always converts to the product in the key code, even if that isn't the version currently installed. So I think in your case it will convert to 360 Deluxe. I'm not aware of any option to override this.

I bought mine in 2020 but the software updates as new versions are released and for me it was just the software key but it can be used on 5 different devices/machines. Just download the software.
