should be, but after I received it, called Nuance with questions I found out how severely limited Create was and that it would disable the Nuance software I was already using that would open and allow editing existing pdf files.

My advise?  Loon for the FREE program by Foxit called PDF Printer

If your running windows 7 you go to start,Then all programs,Then widows ,Fax,and,Scan,Go up to the top where is says scan,click that and a windon should open and start the scan.

Yes and No. (according to a 2012 forum)

Yes it can create fillable PDF forms. 
Yes, your users can open & fill out form in Adobe reader, but will not be able to save it (only print it). Adobe has it's reader setup to where you have to use Adobe's Pro software to create the form if you want to save the PDF with their reader.

However, if your users use Nuance PDF Reader (free) to fill out the form, then all is well.

No. This is licensed for one computer only. However, that was not an issue for me as if you will watch, a rebate card is offered occasionally that brings the cost to 0.00. Since it has that offer now, buy it now and just wait and watch for the promo again.

You are supposed to only install it on one.  If you install it on more than one your product key may become invalid.  Not worth the risk.

Hi Can this product be used to modify existing PDF document?

I had the same question.  I called Nuance and they told me this program is for creating pdf from other sources and NOT for editing pdf files.  I asked the question to see if it would work better than the free pdf converters I was using.  They advised me once Create 8 was installed the other programs would no longer work at all.

I put Create 8 in the circular file and continue to use several free pdf creaters (Foxit printer driver seems to be the best) and the Nuance editor I received with my MFC printer and with WordPerfect.

Since I received a rebate equal to the price paid I was out only the freight and my time.  I learned caution, though and now try to stick to open source and guiltware software sources.
