It shows that this comes with a micro-usb cable, im guessing that is to connect the controller to your PC? Is it USB on the other end, I have an NZXT Internal USB hub, can I connect it to this?

It is a standard USB on the other end (similar to a phone charger), so the internal USB hub "should" work fine
