are the USB jacks as loose as they look in the picture?
they even look like they dont fit...

The USB 3.0 jack angles may vary from product to product. However, the one shown on the Newegg website does seem to be unusually bent. This may be from the manufacturer or perhaps from overly vigorous testing. Please visit the official NZXT website, http://www.nzxt.cm/product/detail/97-aperture-m-case-accessory, for an ideal model. I purchased the same product a few months ago and every aspect of the multi-media hub looks straight and in order to me. Just make sure your computer has an available 5.25" Drive Bay and open USB 2.0 and 3.0 headers.

does this have an ethernet connection?

No.

Two internal connections, one to usb2 header and one to usb3 header.  You get two usb3 ports and the cards transfer at usb2 speeds.  I see 11-15mbs depending on class of card.

What kind of internal port type does this require? PCI?

It uses header-level USB plugs on the motherboard, like a front-mounted USB panel would. The 3.0 ports use a USB 3.0 plug on the motherboard as well. If your motherboard does not support USB 3.0, you won't be able to use those.

is this used for an m card for viewing cable tv on your computer?

will not work with a msata drive. 
it's used on your computer to add card reading (secure digital, etc.).  this unit also allows the addition of two USB 3.0 connectors, but only by being plugged into the computer mother board..
if your tv has a USB port, you could probably plug the USB 2.0 from this unit into your tv, then play video from a card (secure digital).
the simplist approach woud be to have your video on a USB drive.

What are the dimensions? How long is it in the back?

depth is about 4" deep, less than a standard HDD.  The unit I purchased worked for about 4 months, and the card reader quit reading cards, I trashed the unit, more troouble returning it than it's worth.  Good luck,

I recently purchased an nzxt phantom c5-nt-phan-3.0 full tower case and I wanted to check if this product will fit in on of the 5 front screened slots?

Yes, it fit in any computer case where a 5.25" bay is. 5.25 bays are for CD-ROM drives, Burners, Blu-Ray drives, This unit you are asking about, Fan controllers. All these things are the same size openings.  Hope this helps.

How long are the interior cables?  Just wondering if this will reach the mobo ports on a large tower.  Thx.

Can't give you the exact lengths , but they were more than long enough for the new build I did using a Antec 900 case. There was cable to spare.

For some reason, if I have my bluetooth dongle plugged into one of the USB 3.0 ports on this upon booting up, it takes a few minutes to boot up even from my SSD which normally only takes about 5 seconds. Any idea what's up with this?

It is spending plenty of time configuring your driver for the dongle. If the dongle does not have a driver, update your usb hub controller drivers or flash the BIOS. If it does have a driver, reinstall the driver by using a driver download from the dongle's manufacturers website. This should guarantee a successful driver update and should rid you of your problem.

The motherboard on my HP z600 does not support USB 2.0 What kind of pcie card would I need to purchase in order to use this?

There are actually a large variety of PCIe  and internal expansion cards for this form of application. Just make sure that they are for USB 2.0 or higher. What you will be looking for are PCIe cards that have internal USB buses or connections, not he external ones. More or less a USB Expansion card. NZXT actually makes a internal board just for that purpose, I believe it is the Iu01 Internal USB Expansion. I find it odd that your MB doesn't support USB 2.0 though.
