Does this tower come with fans?

yes, and someone said that it came with no top filters. this is true but since warm air rises, thats how it should be. you should want filters for the bottom and front fans which should be pulling in the cold air, and the back and top fans should be pulling air out of the case with no filters to pull as much dust out of the case as possible. this also creates a constant airflow through the machine.

Question 2

It says that it can fit up to 9 fans, how many come pre installed? i am assuming 3?

I haven't opened up my case yet, saving for a rainy day but if trust NZXT's web site it comes with 2- 120mm fans but I wouldn't use theirs if I were you they are noisey. How good is this product for gaming?

As far as air flow, it comes with two 120mm case fans, which are placed behind and above the processor. It has room for two more fans on the front panel, which I bought and installed without difficulty. Just make sure those fans are bringing air in, because the two on the top and rear blow air out.

It does not have air intake in front of the processor (on the side panel). Some cases have just an air filter there with no fan so that the CPU heat sink can suck air through the filter. However, many custom heat sinks have fans on the side, with aluminum fins facing where that filter would be, if this case had that feature.

The case has plenty of room for cabling, and the drive frames are very customizable. It has many, many places for extra hard drives so you can put them (or your one hard drive) wherever you want, and the unused frames can be removed to improve air flow.

Does the case come with any fans?

Yes this case comes with two 120mm fans, one on the top, and one on the back, plus you can add more fans to this case.

Do you have to remove all the HDD trays in order to mount the SSD?   (I want to have 1 SSD and 1 (or more) HDDs)

you shouldn't need to, if you have a pcie ssd then there should be plenty of room, and if it is a standard 2.5" ssd with the correct adapter it should fit in a standard hd tray, there are actually 3 hard drive compartments as well.  The top one has slots for 3 hd, the middle one has slots for 2 hds and the bottom one has slots for 1 hd.  Each section is modular so they can be removed and reconfigured however you wish.  It is a lovely case overall and I couldn't be happier it even has proper mounting and space for a 360mm and 240mm radiator if that is something you were looking at down the road.

Does this case come with motherboard fasteners or screws?

I'm not sure what Christopher is talking about. Every type of screw is in its own labelled bag. Every type of screw is also described in the instruction manual.

Question 7

I have an MSI Z77-G45 mobo, fairly recent gaming hard core mobo. It is an ATX. Does this mean that this case will take the motherboard OK - and where the plugs and USB etc are located will be where it is on this case? Never bought a case before with a separate purchase mobo. Have done barebones where the mobo and case come together. Help!

Hello. As far as I know, this case will take any ATX or micro ATX motherboard, (ITX and EATX also), according to manufacturers specifications. 
About the connectors, the case has a front panel with 2 USB 3.0 connectors, and 2 audio (mic and phones) 1/8" plug connectors. The front panel has a cable that hooks up to the motherboard so that the connectors are functional. 
However, the rest of the connectors that your motherboard has, (ethernet, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, VGA, etc.) will have to be accessed through the back panel. If you can look at the pictures, there´s an opening in the back of the case that will provide access to the motherboard´s connectors once it has been mounted in the case. 
I bought this case a few weeks ago, and I´ve mounted an ATX ASrock X79 extreme 6 motherboard with no problems at all. it is great. It is huge!

I'm replacing my current case because my 390 just barely fits, and I'm having cooling issues. I noticed a review say there may be problems for longer graphics cards - can anyone attest to this?

I don't this it would be an issue.  I have a full size graphics card in mine with about 2 inches to spare.  Even if the GC was too long for the stock config, all the internal drive bays are removable / configurable.  BTW - The Source 530 is the best case I've ever owned, hands down.

can it fit a full sized graphics card like the Gigabyte windforce gtx 760?
just wondering for an upcoming build.

I Have 2 Gigabyte 770s in it. I was also running a 650ti for Physx at one time just to test it out, along with the 2 770s(not worth it). Yes. You can even fit something longer. This is a Full size case.
